patrea
Hey quilting friends, I could use some help. My machine is vibrating, almost bouncing when I go slower. Any suggestions?
Quilting Heidi
Check the height of your leveler bar, check your wheels to make sure they are tight enough and if you have trusses make sure they aren't too high. Also do a search for vibration because there was just somebody not too long ago that had the same problem.
JoAnnHoffman
Should be a fingers width between leveler back bar and base of sewing machine. Level your machine. put level on crossbar of legs also in center of table. See if ther is a bow because your nut and bolt in the center of machine is set too high. Sams Mom
If it has an old style table, try tightening up all the bolts. Worked like a charm for me last week. Donna
Primitive1
I was going to add to check and tighten all bolts too!
patrea
Thanks for all the suggestions, but I think it's in the are of the fly wheel that's vibrating. It's a low deep vibrating sound. The stitches still look great.

zeke
You might want to check up in the fly-wheel if there is any thread. Since you seem to think it's coming from that point, there maybe thread caught up in the pulley or on the motor axle from the cone of thread. If the motor is having trouble motoring the machine, that could be causing the vibration that you are feeling. zeke..............
patrea
I've checked all bolts, made sure all is level, no thread in the flywheel, everything is oiled well, repacked the grease. I would sure love to figure this out, any more ideas?
