Mary Beth
I work at the University of Missouri Extension office (my real job:( ) and there is tons of information for everything you ever wanted to know but were afraid to ask. Today at lunch I found this article and thought it had some good points, thought I'd share!! This comes from a very successful man who owns an advertising agency in Kansas City. Here are his tips for success: 1. Be free thinkers. 2. Surrond yourself with people who are as good as you are or who ideally are better or smarter than you. 3. Be willing to make sacrifices to achieve the success you would like to have including working erratic hours, and living with the financial challenges. 4. Alway keep an eye on the big picture. 5. You don't have to give up your personal life to achiee success in business. You just have to manage your time. 6. It's all about how well you do what you do, and not about the money you make. 7. Be the best. Provide the best product or service and the money will follow. We probably alreay know all this, but it's good to be reminded.
