ffq-lar
Does everyone take a camera everywhere? I do. This inspiring design is wallpaper in a bakery in Tacoma. Is everyone thinking "wholecloth"???
ffq-lar
This gorgeous carved furniture is in Maryhill Museum on the Columbia River in Washington. Designed and commissioned by Marie, the Queen of Romania. Some of the items in the collection were actually carved by her. Border designs? Triangle designs? Heirloom Quilter
Linda, I like the way you think. I have a shirt that has leaves and flowers on it, that I keep saying I'm going to throw on the scanner and print out the design. And I always have a camera with me. jclark
I was in church a few Sunday's ago, a very, very old church in our small town--the ceiling has tin tiles with the most beautiful design which would translate onto a quilt so easily. I didn't feel right about whipping out the camera and taking a photo in church so I plan to go back later to photograph when no one is there! GrandmaLKB
That's my biggest challenge...........coming up with different ideas for quilting inside blocks, sashings, etc. I keep falling back into the same old thing and then kick myself for not trying something new.
