Guest Linda S
Joan - the batting is Hobbs Tuscany Wool - I use wool in all my personal quilts. I like the loft and I love the feel of it in a nice snuggly quilt. SLR is single lens reflex camera. They are more versatile than your basic point and shoot. They are generally very expensive, but I bought a great camera for about $400. It requires a bit more work to upload the photos, but you can shoot your pictures in a couple of different modes and get the best exposure. I have essential tremor, so my hands shake a lot. I needed a camera with anti-shake technology.
dlnewell
Love the feathers and the tiny pinwheels. I'll have to read the thread about the photos. They look great!
Helen G
Just wondering Linda...did that panto take a long time to stitch, it is so full. I just love this quilt!

Guest Linda S
Helen - the panto went very fast, but that's because IQ did it for me. I don't think I'd recommend this as a hand-guided design, and I'm not sure they even sell it that way. I was amazed at the path IQ took to stitch it. RitaR
I keep looking at the quilt, and hoping one day I can stitch feathers placed so prolifically.
Guest Linda S
Rita - this was done by Intelliquilter. If I could do that myself, I'd think I was pretty special, but I just can't take the credit for it.
