yankiequilter
Ooohhh I like it! Very cool pattern, easy path to follow and wonderful texture! The border design is great and I can see using a portion of the main design along with fills for a totally different look. Another irresistable template! Sheri Butler
That pattern is also known as Joseph's coat and/or orange peel if making a quilt top! Very pretty if I say so myself!
Hawaii
Piggy-backing on what Carmen said - I wonder if you could use a portion of the pattern - the circles - to form undulating spines for feathering?? Or half circles for borders to fill in with feathering?
Sandra Darlington
Barbara, it looks like that would work. Maybe Michael will chime in here after he or Kay get a chance to "test" it to be sure. I'll bet that would be a selling point for hte boards. On a slightly different note, I was so bummed when Deb Levy stopped doing the CL classes on MQR. She always came up with so many ways to use the CL products and explained everything she did so well. I thought she was fantastic!!! Boo, hoo,I want her back doing more video classes!
delld
What a cool idea Barbara. I love this forum. All share the best ideas. BTW I'm want the lilly boards. Gotts dig deep in my pockets for sure to get this one!!!!
circlelord
Here is another pattern option - Swags, single or overlaping. they are 5.3 inches high x 11 inches wide. You can also use them for feather spines. You have both top and bottom, without turning template.
Hawaii
Michael, Thank you - the last option... is it using your Lily board? And what is the exact measure of one circle, diameter for border purposes? That sure would beat using rulers!
Hawaii
Sandra, I agree - wouldn't it be wonderful if Deb Levy and Michael partnered up, so we could learn to take our CL toys over the top. She is such a great teacher!
Hawaii
Okay, Michael... I'm caving. Can't resist the many options on this board AND the 25% discount.
