Sparkle
I recently finished this quilt for a friend. All Stonehedge fabrics. It consists of 9 patch blocks and open connector blocks. I used my Circle Lord Mini Ginkgo disk to create a design in the open on point blocks. It turned out very pretty. I used G-8, L-8, only i didn't stagger the L-8, but overlaid it onto the G-8 to create the pattern. Yes, it took a lot of time. The quilt is 68" x 87"---I free handed the continuos curve in the 9 patch blocks.

Sparkle
Heidi, Thank you! It was bit overwhelming after I reached the half way point. But, I also learned a lot using the Mini Ginkgo disk.
Sparkle
Lisa, Thank you---After seeing what my friend did with the Stone Hedge fabrics on this quilt, I'm very tempted to purchase some of the colors. The burnt orange, blues and greens are very muted once they are cut. I enjoyed doing the quilt, it just took a lot longer than I anticipated. Sparkle
Dell, Thank you---it really was a challenge at time to just keep going. Too many open blocks--but, not that it's finished, I'm happy with the results.
