securing threads

Hello everyone, I think this might be as follow up to Linda R's reply to Becky about securing stitches but I am wondering -

What is the best way to secure stitches using the circle lord tools? I love the shapes of the ginko template but shudder at the thought of having to tie and bury all the starts and stops....will Linda's clock method work best or is there another way?
