Marsha Nichols
will the Gammill workstation and design center work on the APQS Mille?
ffq-lar
Is it a stylus system? I suspect if it was usable on other brand machines that they (Gammill) would be marketing them that way.
Zora
No, it isn't usable on APQS machines. It requires a sort of track system on the table, and the tracks have what looks like gear teeth along it unless they have chaged it significantly in the last couple years. Marsha Nichols
Linda: yes, it uses a stylus. A quilt store here uses a computer system and the workstation and design center came with her machine. She has never used this workstation or design center. She is still finding all the parts. Since I don't have my mille yet, I was wondering if someone knew if it would fit. Somethings are interchangable between machines so i was hoping this could be adapted to the Mille. michelleslongarm
Hi Pam I sent you a U2U. I have a Design Center and Workstation for sale. It will only fit a Gammill Classic table. I've never had the time to learn how to use it....and I don't see that I will have the time in the near future. So if you are interested...I can send pictures via email. It takes me too long to figure out how to post pictures on this forum...lol. Thanks MIchelle
pam elab
Hi Michelle, I have a Gammill Classic Plus, so I think it would fit. If you could send a picture, that would be great. I saw the U2U message, but not quite sure how to use it to reply. Thanks! Pam

Marsha Nichols
Pam, so, I guess I won't need to get back to you about the Workstation.
pam elab
Hi Marsha, Sorry, I didn't realize it was not the same workstation we are discussing here! If it is not too much trouble, I would still be interested in the details of the one you were looking at, so I could compare the details of both. Not sure what they are going for. It seems to be something that somes standard with the Gammill machines and not too widely used by Gammill owners. Thanks! Pam
Marsha Nichols
I contacted the store owner of what I have and she doesn't have all the parts. There is a handle and base for the Design Center that she cannot find but she does have a video of the workstation. She hasn't discussed a price. I am not sure if it would be usable without the handle, base and stylus.
