sdaurio
My machine is new to me but used, 2002 Millenium. I've been using it for about 6 days now. In the last couple of days I've seen the needle up/down acting funny. When I first got it, the first couple of days, needle up/down was no problem at all. After about 3 days, it would do 3-5 stitches and then stop but now, it doesn't stop at all sometimes. I thought it was just needle up down, but sometimes I can't even get the machine to stop by just pressing a button, it slows down like needle up / down. I was facing the needle in the front, looked in the back for the plug but the only plug I have in the back on the left is the power supply plug. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. srichardson
It is possible to adjust the needle/up down function by turning the number 8 screw. Check your manual for the screw location. I am not sure where it would be located on your machine. It is a simple adjustment. Welcome to the forum. sdaurio
They gave me a photo copied manual with the machine. I'm not even sure everything is there. I don't see anything in the manual. Is there somewhere I can order a manual for my machine?
srichardson
Give APQS a call and talk to them about ordering a manual. They will also be able to help you with the issue that you are having now while you are on the phone. Good luck, Sue

srichardson
I should have been clearer when I mention the number 8 screw. In my manual it is listed in the index under Needle Positioner. If you aren't able to connect with anyone at APQS try checking under that in the manual that you have. Sorry! sdaurio
I called the APQS and waiting for a call back. I'm going to order the maintenance DVD and the manual. The manual I have doesn't have an index. I looked at all the schematic diagrams and there isn't a needle positioner in the diagrams either I am hoping it's some sort of user error or quilt adjustments. Thanks so much for the help!
