anniemueller
My IQ had just arrived and I'd already planned to use R&S spiral groovey board on this quilt for my niece. So I loaded the digital pattern on IQ and away it went. Easy peasy.

anniemueller
Then I did a small charity quilt. It's an all over pattern, one that comes with IQ. Whimsy, I think.

anniemueller
Then I was feeling confident and ready to try something harder. I had a charity quilt with sports balls appliqued on it. So I picked a meander pattern (from Helen, comes with IQ) and made no sew zones around the applique. Boy, did I spend a lot of time learning on this one! By the end and with help from Angela, it became quite easy;) All bloopers that you see if you zoom in close are Operator Error!
srichardson
Annie, I love both of your quilts and the quilting designs. They are both so fresh and cheerful.
anniemueller
The last football made me cheer! Finally, I got it to stitch in one pass and everything lined up nicely. Again, this was practice. I wasn't too concerned with making the shape around the football perfectly smooth and spaced an even distance away from the applique. I just wanted to see that I could do it.

Could you tell me what pattern that came with your IQ you used for the small charity quilt. I have IQ and don't remember seeing this pattern on my IQ. Thanks.
