Cheryll
I moved in September and had quite a time getting my machine in through a window. Now it seems I've been sort of afriad to use it again. Is there anything I need to know extra about oiling - cleaning when a machine has sat for a time. I had only done a about six quilts on it before. I need courage. Ha Ha
LindaB
Hi Cheryll: I didn't touch my Millie for about 5 months, and when I did recently, I just plugged it in, oiled up the wicks and turned it on and let it run for about 15 or 20 minutes. After that warmup, I made sure the bobbin area was clean, rubbed down the rails, cleaned my wheels, and started quilting. Oh, it felt soooo good. So, just jump in there, load some muslin and start playing. You'll have fun..... Let us know how it goes, ok???
