zeke
Hey kids, Don't you just love it when you machine craps out on you. Here I am quilting along and the machine just starts making this rat-a-tat noise. Oh My God, what is that. I stop the machine and look under the quilt and find the bobbin just sitting there on the Comuquilter front motor. Oh joy! What now. You know, it took me 45 minutes to figure out that the bobbin case just went south for the winter. I had wound three other bobbins to see if it would work, and nothing. I should know better, right. Sometimes us techs are just as stuburn as the rest of everyone else. Now it running smooth as can be. Joyful music to my ears. by the hour,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,zeke............. LadyLake
Glad to hear you're whole machine didn't go KA'PUTS, Zeke! Those daily reminders that we never fully conquer the intricacies of long arm quilting are what keep it interesting! Hope the rest of your day goes better! JustSewSimple
Do NOT allow that bobbin or case to come south for the winter! I have enough to deal with concerning my own bobbins and cases!

LibbyG
Zeke, I'm glad a man can have trouble with his machine, it makes me feel so much better. Happy that you were able to figure out the problem. Now we'll all know what to do the next time if our bobbin goes south.
