quiltermidwife
This may seem a bit premature or too much for those of you still beavering away at his year's birthday blocks but is there going to be a Birthday Block exchange for next year? I'm really interested in joining. Chris
Judi
Chris - that is great! Glad to see there is still or should I say more interest! I hope we do it again - depends on how everyone fullfills their obligations and actually send out blocks.... I know I have received around only 15 blks and have sent out many. I am running late with it though, have a few more to go even. Sent 3 to Canada today..... wondering how long those will take to get there?!? And you over in the U.K. - how long does a letter from the states take to arrive at your door?

chickenscratch
I would also like to see us do it again, but with a little more structure and commitment. I have only received 19 blocks. I have sent out all but 11. I also don't have any information on anybody named Pauline. Karol, your house block is in pieces on my ironing board. I'll get it together as soon as I finish this cancer quilt. Vicki, I finally found the right pattern for yours. I'll do it next week. To you December girls, and those that joined in late. I'm working on them, you will get them before the end of the year.

quiltermidwife
Judi Post in the UK generally takes between 1 & 3 days (1st or 2nd class post). My experience from living in the states is that it generally takes longer there. In my experience, international post can take around 5 - 14 days depending on how much overland travel there is state side and the size of the package. Sandra Darlington
Hi Everyone, I am also far behind, but catching up. I already sent out a number of blocks in the early part of our "club." At this point I have blocks made and ready to mail for Lorrie Houle, Janet Armstrong, Carol Stanaland, Carol Hillary, Norece Embody, Jeanne Rumans, Vicki Bohnhoff, and April Wright. I have just found a house pattern for Karol Kusmaul, so I plan to sew that this week. I also received a block from Kate Myers, but Kate, I hope you read this...what kind of block do you want? As soon as I make these last two blocks I will take them all to the post office. Hopefully they will get mailed in about one week. That should cover everyone who sent me a block. I also plan to continue sewing for people on the list, but wanted to concentrate first on the people who have already sent one to me. Thanks everyone for being patient. Judi
April - That is possible! I do have Polly as the #26 on my list - I have her full address, but there is NO email address, no ph# and no info. on block color or size..... other than just "cotton" If you have her business card, could you send the info to Susan and I, or ask her if she is still in the program? Thanks in advance for your help!

If anyone has the answers for me, please let me know, or if I get to them first, I will send them something! Thank-you!
