milli+rainbow+black bottomline...priceless

Recommended Posts

This is why I love my APQS Millennium. I used rainbow thread on top with black bottomline in the bobbin on a black back. NO POKIES! Batting was black cotton poly blend. I added a layer of thin wool to enhance the applique. This was a shop hop quilt pattern, so the blocks were slightly different sizes. Therefore, no sashing was the same size! Yikes! I have a few additional grey hairs over this quilt. So happy this one is finished! 6935973873_c5742663f6_z.jpg

Which Rainbows did you use on the feathered border, Chris? I like the look. Fun quilt!!

Hi Joan, I used Superior Rainbow 801. Also the feathers were hook feathers. I did not want to travel back down the spine with such contrasting thread so hook feathers it is. The spines in the feathers are from "Feather Adventures" by Patsy Thompson. I love that book.
