RoseCity Quilter
My Friend Susan Strong made this quilt. I quilted it for her today. The fabric line is Stitch in Color. I used the panto Contempo and King Tut thread. Quilting Heidi
Ardelle you did a great job with that panto. I would imagine that it would be easy to round those corners but your lines are straight and crisp. Nice job.
Sparkle
Ardelle that looks soooo---nice! Perfect quilting pattern for this quilt. I tend to forget how interesting angular quilting patterns can be. Nice!

Tamarack
Thanks for posting this picture. I have the Contempo panto but have never used it yet and I love how it looks on this quilt.
fineseams
Nice quilt, and an interesting quilting design. I like the use of King Tut - the heavier thread looks really good. How difficult is it to get nice straight lines and square angles? I've stayed away from such pantos because of worries about how hard it might be to make them look precise enough. RoseCity Quilter
Actually it is a very easy panto to do. I used the channel lock for the horizontal lines, and found I could do the vertical lines very straight without locks. I slowed down at the corners, stopped and engaged or dis-engaged the channel lock and carried on in the new direction. By stopping the corners came out nice and square. And it was Susan who picked the panto- she picked just right....
