OntheLAM
What is the best way to write into small borders all around the quilt? I was thinking that I only needed to turn the quilt but then it suddenly struck me I will also be writing 'upsidedown'! Would it be better to trace the script from a tracing paper for those areas, turn the quilt for each side, work from the back of the machine....? SherryRogers
Hi Caroline Personally, I would write the script on the borders before loading. You can also use the golden paper that tears away after stitching as well. I have found that I can write upside down or sideways as long as I have something to follow. Hope this helps. GERRY
Good thought Sherry, I was thinking if you write the words on a long piece of paper, you could then use it as a panto, & only have to flip the paper instead of the quilt. Just a thought from a newbie, I haven't tried it. & it my be hard to keep it centered & straight on the small border, though I haven't any trouble keeping flower's & leaves straight, script is a little differant.
