JustSewSimple
If you have a longarm quilting crosshatch ruler, template, or whatever, do you mind sharing what it is? I don't have quiltizoid but wish I did.
meg
i dont do much ch - but, that's what i have, quiltazoid. the few times i've done it it's been very easy using the QZ. i use the crosshatching template more for beadboard & piano keys in borders. works great. edit - i have linda rech's tool and it is better for larger areas of ch than the QZ cause you can run the whole area in one swoop. i've only used it once & it worked great. LisaC
I have Miss Linda Rech's cross hatch rulers and they Rock! Price was right, too, good value! I am finishing up a sawtooth border on a Baltimore Album quilt I started years ago and I am looking forward to cross hatching the background! Quilting Heidi
I use my quiltazoid for Cross hatching. It has paid for itself many times over!
HeatherH
I use the Circle Lord crosshatch template board and Push Button system. I have had great results and it is very easy to use once you get the "hang" of it. A couple of my quilts using this system are posted on the 2012 circle Lord quilt contest if you would like to have a look. I paid for the system with the first quilt i did using the system. KathG
For large areas I would use my QZ, but have just bought Lisa Calle Quilters Groove rulers and think they will be great for small areas.
