Lynne in Iowa
Can I use the plastic bobbins from my DSM on my Lenni? I've used the metal Lenni ones on my DSM with no problem.
ffq-lar
Give it a try. As long as they fit the spindle of the bobbin case and your bobbin winder, they should work well. Superior used to sell pre-wounds on plastic bobbins and I have saved them. When I need self-wound bobbins, I use these. I get better tension than when I use metal bobbins. JustSewSimple
I use them all the time with no problem.
Lynne in Iowa
I'll give them a try then. All my metal ones seem to be full of the wrong colors. Time to use some of them up piecing so I have some empty ones again. I was afraid they might wear or break at a higher speed.
barbm
Just be cautious at first - the ClearGlide bobbins from Fil-Tec are NOT designed for use in longarms! One of my customers found out the hard way....
Lynne in Iowa
All my plastic bobbins came from my Pfaff dealer so not sure what they are. The reason I wondered is I did have one break while winding a bobbin on my DSM.
Kay Anderson
I wouldn't reccommend them if you are useing the mono-poly threads. I've broken them just for use on my DSM. Seems like that thread packs and expands the sides so fast they break before you even notice they are winding weird.

I had no idea they would not work on my millennium at the time of purchase. Pretty disappointing.
barbm
Chris, call Fil-Tec and see if they'll exchange them for MagnaGlide bobbins. If not, maybe someone here will want them for their embroidery machines.
