KathyA
I have an older Millie and need to replace the bushings and hopping foot. My question is if I should go with the newer exchangable feet. I'm not so sure I really have a use for them. Since I use so many guides I expect I would probably have the regular foot on 99% of the time. Has anyone purchased this upgrade and NOT used the extras? Thank you - ordering within the next few days so any feedback is appreciated.
jmcclannan
I have the new feet and I put the open toe feet on first. It has been on ever since. It is awesome and there is no need to change back to the full foot for ruler use. You will love it.
lisae
Hi, Kathy, I recently upgraded the hopping foot on my Freedom SR. I have used the open toe most so far. I am going to try the micro and applique feet on the quilt I am working on now. The only comment I have is that you have to adjust your hopping foot height when you go from the larger feet to the smaller feet. Not necessarily bad, just something to be aware of. KathyA
Thank you. Since you can use the open toe foot with rulers I think I might as well upgrade. Love gadgets anyway...
