Kay Anderson
I love quilting, my longarm is my best friend, I spend more time with her than with my DH. But......I just hate to work on all white. I love it when it's done. But.....in all the years I've been longarming I've never found a truly easy way to mark a white quilt. By the time I get one done I am almost blind. There has to be a way.
chrisquilter
Kay, I have found that if I turn off the light on my machine it is easier to see the shadows created by the stitching. Now I always turn off the light when I have a white quilt.
JoAnnHoffman
Turn off all the light on the machine and in the room. Buy a halogen snake light and attach to your post on top of the machine. Have your light shining from left to right just to the side of the needle. I always quilt in the dark. Office Max, Office Depot, Kmart has them for about $15.00. The longer the arm the better. Has a clamp on the end.

Bonnie H
Doesn't Superior or YLI have a white thread that glows in the dark under black lighting? I don't know if it glows all the time in the dark but just under black lighting. I'd be curious if anyone has used it before.
