ffq-lar
This is another Cranberry Hill pattern with a "witchy" theme. Very cute and hand-embroidered with a brown medium-to-dark variegated floss. It's pieced first in sections--traditional blocks--and then embroidered. Next the sections are pieced together. The background color-shading is done with crayons in brown, yellow, gray, and a touch of blue and pink. I used wool batting, So Fine in an oatmeal color, outlined most of the embroidery and then did a large fill behind. Look at how cute the embroidery is! ffq-lar
In the last two photos, under the embroidery--per my customer's request--I free-handed a Rosary. She thought the witch-y theme needed a touch of gentleness!

Sheri Butler
That is such a cute quilt pattern. For anyone who has the first printing of that pattern, there are corrections to it. 2 boo boo's I believe in there. http://www.ericas.com/embroidery/A12864_corrections.pdf

JudithWashburnQuiltStudo
Very nice! The best quilting I have seen on this pattern; I have seen 4 others. I have one I am working on and the swirly curly is a great filler without takin from the design. Did you outline the design as if it were an applique?
