Just finished - Log Cabin Sunflowers

Recommended Posts

Hello all. I wanted to post the quilt that I just finished. It took me over 14 months to make. There's lots of trapunto, embroidery, applique and sparkles on this quilt. I use King Tut, Sulky Sliver and So Fine to quilt it. Had to do quite alot of frogging as well along the way! Hope you like it....

Evelyn, That quilt is wonderful. I am amazed at the applique, the embroidery, the machine detaidsl, the way you used the batik for the blue flowers.... the chevron in the sashing, just everything, not least of all, that massive amount of pebbling. And the various styles of blocks.. the sunflower, the little strip of mariners compus type of flowers. The coloring seems to be by hand, Oh, I could go on and on..

It is Unique and doubt anyone could make an exact copy.

Terrific Job!!
