I do not know the demensions as yet. It is for her sons wdding anniversary present....so nothing frilly. I will have more info on demensions tomorrow....I think the whole thing is 45 x 45. How about feathers in the red, in the black I'd do straight liines following the zigzag, In the background of the words I might try to crosshatch but larger than usual. Of course using a thread that matches the fabric and is very fine so it recedes into the fabric. Good luck and please post when you're done!!!
