ffq-lar
I can't say enough good things about your quilting on this pretty top! The feather swoops next to the true basketweave quilting in the big star--absolutely stunning and it fits the feel of the quilt so well. All-around gorgeous! RoseCity Quilter
Some fabulous ideas here. I really like the feathers in the large star triangles and the wreath like appearance they have. And that basket weave....:D:D
JudithWashburnQuiltStudo
Great work - was this all hand guided? If not, I am interested in where you got the basket weave pattern for hand guided.:cool::cool:
kathyb
Judith, The entire quilt IS hand guided and the basketweave is a stencil. I believe it is a one inch basketweave. I think there are bigger ones and possibly smaller a one as well. It's very time consuming, but the results are worth it!
