Wannabelongarm
My friend Avis, who really got me started with the quilting bug, send me a couple to quilts to finish. This one has 2000 pieces, for her daughter, who graduated in 2000. She will getting it on her 30 birthday in September. Thanks to Matt, my studio inspiration, who suggested that I do CC in ALL the squares and match my bobbin thread to have a colour wash on the back. I added some swirls off my CL swirl board and just kept CCing! She loved it, and I am so lucky to have a part of this quilt. The fabric came from all over the world, as she is in a fabric swap club, and asked for 3" squares. The blue square has sparkly 2000 on it for her grad year and I SID around all but 1 of those. Thanks for looking! Joanne Flamand, Artistic Quilt Design
