ffq-lar
This is small--35" square--with prairie points attached. It was made with swapped blocks and the cutest reproduction fabrics. Because of the prairie points I quilted a half-inch away from the edge and matched that spacing next to the inside border seam for symmetry. My customer will trim and turn under the backer and hand-stitch it closed. I loved it!
ffq-lar
A close-up of the simple quilting--fat feathers within the border lines, a peacock filler and a simple petal design inside the basket handles. Neither the baskets nor the border triangles were quilted.
Guest Linda S
Very cute. I think the prairie points would have had me running for the hills. Why can't folks put those on afterwards?
