carolinequilts
Everytime I quilt this pattern now, I want to thank, thank, thank, Linda Rech for sharing her tips on how to do this! You are an inspiration. It is now getting easier for me and each quilt I do looks a bit better than the last. This is the first one I did for a customer, and she loved it! It is a very metallic quilt, so some of the gold did not come out well in the pic.... Thanks again Linda!

IQ'd
If you go to control panel then edit profile, you can change the topics per page and the posts per page. I set my posts per page to 200, then I don't have to worry about getting to the 2nd and 3rd pages. It is all on one page. BTW I couldn't get past the first page before I logged in either. KarenH
Caroline the quilt is beautiful, the feathers rock!! But I need to ask bump bump feathers or traditional feathers? Thanks for the eye candy!!
carolinequilts
Karen - these are 'hook' feathers. Sally Terry has a video on how to do them - http://www.sallyterry.com/Public/Products/HookedOnFeathers/index.cfm I did these with a much narrower hook than is shown on the video. peglu
Beautiful! Love your feathers. I have tried to do this and I just can't get the stem down. I am such a hands on learner. I need someone to SHOW it to me. I can't seem to get it off paper. I need a quilt buddy in my neighbor hood. Or...maybe a quilty vacation
