Sandra Darlington Posted August 27, 2012 Report Share Posted August 27, 2012 I just looked at that quilt again and realized that piecing design was the very first quilt I ever made. I was happy to SID with my old White machine to finish it. Mine was two blue calico fabrics - one light and one dark. Since the original directions a friend gave me said to "tie" the quilt, I did that too. LOL I gave it to my Mother as I wanted her to have my very first quilt. She always had it folded on the bottom of her bed (it was just a lap quilt, and not all that big.) A few years ago I got it back after she passed away.
