gypsyquilter
ok, still new at this and still learning. I've been lucky that most of my quilts have been a joy to work on 9except for the one with the staples in it, but that's another story) I had a quilt today that had an incredibly wavy border, I could fold over an extra inch or so of fabric. I took a pleat on it, I am not sure I did it right, how do all of you do this? it looked OK when it was done, but just OK. it was a QOV, so I wanted it to look great. any input? srussell
I had to "take a pleat" in a customer's quilt, but I made it look like a seam with top stitching. Looked like it was a seam and was intended. It happened on the bottom rows (3 of them), so I just took the pleat where another seam was started in the 3rd inner border. Maybe that would work?
