Sandra Darlington
Your freehand is awesome. I use the CL BF boards frequently, but would not consider doing them freehand. Kudos to you for the lovely donation. I hate when people give really crappy looking quilts because they are "just for charity." Yours is terrific. witha'K'quilting
My BFs are freehand...no markings...just went for it. I try to sell some quilts on etsy...but always give some to childrens hospital when I can. I believe these kids need nice quilts...they are going through tougher things than we can imagine! So...the nine patch was 18-1/2" before cutting into quarters. A friend made the nine patches, and gave them to me. I think they look better after being cut. I how this makes some child/teenager happy.
