Anette D.
Next Friday will be the three-month anniversary of my double knee replacement. I'm walking fine and can sit for at least an hour without discomfort. I'm happy I went through with the surgery. BUT, now I want to get back to quilting. I have a sampler quilt for a very good customer. My question is this: Should I do each sample block differently OR would putting the same motif--a ribbon rose--in each block be better? I thought the ribbon rose would bring attention to the rose-like flowers in the border and bring some uniformity to the quilt. It would also be a little quicker (I think), thus keeping me at the machine for less time while I'm breaking myself back into quilting shape. I appreciate any feedback. JoleneK
Any chance you can post a photo so we can see the quilt? You most of us quilters need visuals (I know I do).
