Dustee
Hi! Thanks to Heidi, I can now post pictures from Web Shots. I am so excited!! I feel I have made a big break through! I have been working on this JN "Crown of Thorns" for a couple of weeks now. I am anxious to get it quilted and off the frame. Linda R gave me some wonderful ideas for the circles and spikes. I am going to use a swirl in the middle, squiggly lines in the spikes, scrolls in between the spikes and ribbon candy in the surrounding circle. I am not sure on the border. I am thinking SID and squiggles in the spikes for the border, but I am open for suggestions. My real problem is what to do with the pinched squares and all the odd little pieces in between the circles and the back ground. I am drawing a total blank with this quilt. No imagination what so ever. I have lost sleep over this quilt, it is driving me crazy. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking. Have a GREAT DAY!! shirleyl
Wow maybe I would have suggestions after next week. Classes with Marilyn and others. I'm at a loss, but I will be watching for what everyone suggests, I have the Misty Mountain Pond done and I'm not sure how to quilt sections of it. Love your quilt. Her stuff is addictive isn't it. Guest Linda S
When I have spikes like that I use squiggly lines and twisty curls. Here's a pic:
