Using QD wool for wall hanging\"?

Recommended Posts

Linda, have you tried Warm and Natural's poly? It's thin but has loft and is very stable. Borders on stiff. Wouldn't use it on a baby quilt because it doesn't drape well.

What I have here, is the wool and I have QD blend and puff. I don't want to use puff on this quilt. should I see if the little quilt shop here has something besides blend to put under it?

Or they might have that W&N poly

Hi Heidi! Welll..... I tried!! The one piece of it I did salvage to use on this quilt. but the other is....well..... looks like a raggedy ghostie!!! :D I had to kind of "piece" the one I'm using... It seems pretty flat, so , I'm going for it!! I'll learn!!

LOL yes Linda and unfortunately it sounds like you learned the hard way. I usually start at a corner and go very slowly. Sometimes one piece is a little thicker than the other side but I can usually get them apart with no holes. I usually get my batting off a roll and I wonder if the folds cause issues. You can use the other side as stuffing!
