ffq-lar
Third of five--I'm trying to use different designs on each one and I'm running out of ideas!! This customer used a speckled batik for her background because she liked that it looked like a pond with algae on it. I thought that was brilliant! We decided on ferns as the background filler and I tucked some critters in here and there--a couple of dragonflies, a frog, and a snail. I like how the center came out. Thanks for looking! Primitive1
Love the snail! I can see that you are using differant designs on each one - was this a class where all 5 of these made them together? So they will be comparing? Maybe it can be a category in a quilt show.. Dustee
I love this quilt. I am a JN fan. I just finished piecing one. I have it on the frame now and you gave me some really good ideas for quilting it. Once you make a JN you can't help but make another and another. I love the detailed quitling on this quilt. The ferns are perfect! This will go in my favorites for sure. Thanks for sharing.
