Julia Rockwell
I was just introduced to glide thread and really like it. Have any of you used the magna glide bobbins? I have a Milennium.
Guest Linda S
The bobbins ROCK! I tried them for the first time in early 2009 and I haven't wound a bobbin since. If you want perfect tension, FilTec's Bobbins are the way to go.

Sandra Darlington
I really like the Magna Glide bobbins, too. If you have been using the L bobbins that came with your machine, then order more L's as the M's won't fit. Only recently has there been an option to buy machines with the M bobbins, prior to this APQS machines only took the L bobbins.
Beachside Quilter
I have recently switched to Magna Glide bobbins and use them exclusively. I love both the Classics and Delights. They work great with all threads, and I love the combination with Glide!
Paulene
They are just great.
Julia Rockwell
So do I take out the check spring I take out the check spring in the bobbin case?
Beachside Quilter
Yes, Julia, you remove the checkspring! I keep a separate bobbin case just for Magna Glides so I don't have to worry about remembering. I keep my spare bobbin cases in small plastic zip top bags marked for the different threads I use them for; Bottom Line, So Fine, etc., although I rarely use any but Magna Glides now.
