LibbyG
I loved working on this quilt because it didn't have any sashings. I wanted to use different background fillers, so I used the designs in the batiks as inspiration. The quilter knew the border was wavy as the pieced blocks didn't exactly fit. I told her that was an easy fix. Then I chose some design elements that could go in all the pieced blocks.

whitepinesquilter
Libby, your quilting is awesome! I love it all! I bet they'll be absolutely tickled when they pick it up. Would you (or someone else here) happen to know if there's a kit for this? Our DD and SIL are expecting their first in December, and I'd love to make this for them for their farm theme baby's room. LibbyG
For Marci and anyone else who'd like to make this quilt. It's a Smith street design computer generated embroidered applique called A Duck Says Quack. My customer thinks there are kits out there available. I googled it and there's a fabric pack for $8.50 with some textured fabric for the animals. Also you can make a book, too.
