A Duck Says Quack-Won blue ribbon in local show!

Recommended Posts

I loved working on this quilt because it didn't have any sashings. I wanted to use different background fillers, so I used the designs in the batiks as inspiration. The quilter knew the border was wavy as the pieced blocks didn't exactly fit. I told her that was an easy fix. Then I chose some design elements that could go in all the pieced blocks. 2593678000105935297S425x425Q85.jpg2322872470105935297S425x425Q85.jpg2140196030105935297S425x425Q85.jpg2426744470105935297S425x425Q85.jpg2727030540105935297S425x425Q85.jpg

For Marci and anyone else who'd like to make this quilt. It's a Smith street design computer generated embroidered applique called A Duck Says Quack. My customer thinks there are kits out there available. I googled it and there's a fabric pack for $8.50 with some textured fabric for the animals. Also you can make a book, too.
