cblevins Posted October 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 12, 2012 UPDATE!! YAY! Elmer was able to get his chemo !! The big tumor has shrunk 40 to 50% The tumors in his lungs look like pin pricks! The surgery that seemed impossible 4 months ago is back on the table now! This round of chemo and then 1 more and we will talk about it again the doctor said! The doctor said the progress Elmer has made these last 2 months is remarkable. Surgery could increase his life expectancy to maybe 2 or 3 years instead of 8 or 9 months! My hopes are up again. THANK YOU everyone for all the thoughts and prayers. They are awsome people and I get to visit with them and love sharing my homemade cinnamon rolls over a cup of coffee. Of course we discuss our quilting and I am so happy to have them as my friends.
