Who is the artist ? ,re:Lindas new book

Dennis' brother, robert, is the cover artist. She told me he is a professional cartoonist. I love the cover too.

Linda, you should add robert to the credits page.

Yes, Roberts name should be on the credits page! He didn't put a copyright symbol on the original cartoon so we must do that for future printings. He is the artistic brother. Den got the engineer brain and Robert the artistic brain--left-handed, musically talented, playing classical guitar, banjo, and other stringed instruments, woodcarving, and his art. He'll be thrilled that you like his picture of me. I'll see if I can post it. He was very kind to me--took several photos for reference and then drew me 20 pounds lighter and with an extra chin deleted! Love that guy! :D

Linda...i doubt anyone would complain about you using this forum to mention/sell your book. Btw...you were so kind as to thank all your apqs buds for inspiring you to write it! Robert even drew a millennium on the front cover. Thats awesome.

My book arrived in the mail yesterday but I had a BOM sewing class last night so didn't see it until this morning...........so I saved it until my lunch break and just finished browsing through it. It's GREAT! Love the front cover and the way that you have explained it all. Thank you Linda, it was worth the wait! :):)

Noq I bet you have ideas floating around for Volume 2.... :D:D

Guess what arrived in my mailbox today? Yep!!!! Linda's book is a treasure trove of creative ideas for sashings and borders. Now I'm searching my pile of quilts for something that I can try them out on. Thanks Linda! It will be much used and loved. It's a great buy for anyone who's still thinking about it. One of the best books in my library :)

Linda, I have no problem with you using this forum to let us know about the book. Since I have been on the forum, you are one of the consistant quilters here always with a helping hand or thought. I have a much harder time with the posts that are a noticeable sales pitch and you know that you haven't seen them on here much.

I'm looking forward to my book coming. Hopefully the check has arrived for you.

I ordered my book a couple of days ago and Linda is mailing it, however I'm in California visiting my parents and will have to wait two more weeks to see the book when I get home to Florida. :(

Well, Debbie, you can come by my house while you're in CA and I'll let you look at mine. It's wonderful. I love the mountain picture on the front cover above the air conditioner and the doggy door....I mean there are so many "little touches" that it's amazing. Very detailed. Then you get to see the detail on the inside. Awesomeness all the way. Thank you so much Linda. My friend was so surprised when she saw my name on the inside and it was signed by you. She asked how I got so special...I informed her that it wasn't me who was special, but Linda instead.
