meg
hi everybody.. since baby boy went off to school, i have been making time to investigate all the things i have been fascinated by and never had the time to learn. i am taking joen wolframs' craftsy class. i have always gone with my gut when choosing fabrics for my quilts. i threw caution to the wind and selected all these fabrics based on value!! it was so much quicker this way and i'm happy with the results. of course, you would have to chose the right pattern and i think this one was perfect for my experiment. next up is choosing colors using the color wheel.... this will take some time but i hope it's worht the effort. i'm really enjoying looking at my stash in a whole new way. i'd recommend this class to anyone wanting a refresher on color theory.
