micajah
Hi, I have a customer who has requested superior metallic thread on top and I'm using signature thread on bottom. Great looking combination and it is working well. Halfway finished and a thought occurred to me to ask what do I tell her regarding care of this quilt. Will she have trouble with the metallic melting or breaking if she washes and drys the quilt? What temperatures should she use in the wash and dryer? Guest Linda S
I'd check the Superior Website for care instructions. I think the core of the thread is poly, so it should be okay. I just wouldn't use extreme temps, e.g., wash in warm, dry at a mid-temp setting.
micajah
Thanks Linda, I'll recheck the website -couldn't find anything last night when I went online. And I'll give her this infomation when she picks up her quilt. Debbie
Quilting Heidi
It washes beautifully. I've never had to treat it any differently.
