Enchanted Quilting
I have been piecing a quilt for our daughter for quite some time. Among other things it included 288 half square triangles finished to 1 1/2". Today I got the borders on and mitered the corners. I am thinking that good luck was surrounding me because all four corners (including an inset flange) mitered beautifully! Usually I can get three and then I think I must get cocky and the 4th just never lays right. Then the backing (which was all the LQS had left) was pieced and big enough!! Finally, I pulled the last of some 80/20 off of the roll and it too was just big enough. Tomorrow "Edna" and I have at the quilting...hoping for continued good luck! I will post pictures once Ruby Slippers is done.
