LadyLake
I have a friend who is REALLY into Halloween, so when we did a group exchange of Buckeye Beauty blocks, she chose Halloween fabrics. As you can see, from a distance the quilt looks somewhat classic, but up close it is fun Halloween fabrics. Any suggestions for easy to medium custom, or even a really great panto? Thanks! Enchanted Quilting
A fun pumpkin in the middle of each of the white squares would be an idea...or you could mix it up with brooms, spiders, webs, witches hats etc.
quiltingjoyful51
You could put spider webs in the white blocks.
WestieMom
I never offer suggestions on quilting because I usually don't have any idea.... When I looked at this quilt I can see Halloween themed images stitched in the white squares...a spider, spider web, witches hat, broomstick, etc, and a loopy meander everywhere else. Something special for the border but I'm not sure what that would be... Can't wait to see what you do with it!
Quilting Heidi
I'd probably do some cc'ing and then plunk in some Halloween designs in the plain blocks depending on her taste. I would stick with very basic outline designs like bats, witches hats, pumpkins, things like that. Find out what she likes most and go for it. Primitive1
I see a general pattern of smaller blocks sitting on top of a grid of cross blocks...maybe something to make those little blocks pop out...?
