Borderline Quilter
These are beautiful, do you use an extra stabiliser or just use batting????
Merryjo2003
I used a piece of leftover Legacy or QD wool batt (whatever is laying around), no stabilizer. It's just like drawing only with thread. Just fun to fool around. Love to doodle.
WestieMom
Your peacocks are wonderful! You are one talented lady. I know my doodles would not look like this...

IQuiltToo
Those are all incredible! Have you thought of teaching a class in this thread painting at Road next year?
Merryjo2003
Yes! Actually, someone from Road contacted me about submitting a proposal for teaching last year. I'm not sure exactly how they got my info., but I appreciated that I was even asked. I have a 15 year old in highschool so I can't be gone a lot, but would teach at Road or Long Beach because they're only a 2 1/2 hour drive. Once she's off to college, I'll have more free time to travel a little. I love to teach. I teach privately in my studio and at a store about 1 hour away. Everyone is very pleasant to be around. Always nice people and we have a blast!
