whitepinesquilter 367
That is interesting. Being I know very little about computerized quilting or the systems that offer it, is Quilt Path unique in having a disengage for the belt when done stitching in computerized mode? DawnCavanaugh 549
Marci, You do not need to disengage the belts unless you want to move the machine completely independently from the Quilt Path. The system also has a "disengage carriage" feature that allows you to move the machine to a new location (say the center of the next block) without loosening or removing the belt clamps. klwheeler 89
If you have "disengage carriage" via Quilt Path software to do some free motion quilting, or move the head to a new location, how do you use the software to engage the carraige again? That might be important.
