Anne from Guam
My customer bought a top similar to this one and wants me to quilt it. What kind of quilting will look the best in all of those octagons? We did decide on a thread color that matches the background and I have artistic freedom. Anne from Guam
The octagons are 3.5" wide.
Gretchen
How about 3" feathered wreaths?
Anne from Guam
That's an idea, thanks. I think I'd be an expert at a 3" wreath by the time I finished the quilt!!! I learned that this pattern is also called Hummingbird, so I was thinking a flower would work as well. Maybe I could alternate the two...
ffq-lar
Start at the left side in the white. Spiral in/spiral out/ sneak through the tiny seam allowance at the right and stitch it again--all across.
anniemueller
I'm stumped for ideas. Can't wait to see what you do with it!
witha'K'quilting
i see terry twists dancing throughout the white areas of this top. it would be continuous and would be simple yet pretty.
