Busy Quilting 442
I have now researched my problem with resizing photos to post on this forum. I have all my pictures saved onto my computer so I find the picture I would like to post, open it with Microsoft Office 2010. I then auto correct the colouring. Then click on picture tab. Then if you click on the resize , Then click on predefined width x height in the drop down box, then click web large 640x 480 will give you a picture about 200kb web small 480 x 336 will give you a pic about 100 kb. Click OK I then go back to file and "Save as" giving the picture a name I will remember. When I want to post it to the forum under the original reply box there is additional reply box which gives you the option to then Attach files using the "browse" and finding on your computer. You then have to "attach this file" to your reply. Hope this helps anyone else who would prefer to use their own photos from their home computer. Spencerg
ffq-lar 3,612
Hi Lyn, This is just how I used to post pictures--from my Desktop. Unfortunately with the old (I hope!) "new forum" I could only post four photos and then I'd reached the limit allowed. I'm hopeful that when they're finished with this latest fix we'll be allowed more space for photo posting.
