Okay, I\'ll make that correction Jeanne. Thanks for letting me know before I messed up.

My last day at work is Dec. 18th, so I\'ll probably make them that week before Christmas and drop them in the mail.

I wish I had gotten enough to do a quilt, but maybe I can put them together into some kind of wall hanging; or add alternate blocks between the pieced ones. I\'m still deciding.

Teresa, you may still get more blocks, I\'m waiting a little longer before putting mine together. Also, if you don\'t have enough, how about putting them on point with plain white blocks in between. This will make the quilt bigger and allow you to do some of that beautiful quilting you are so go at. Just a thought. Janet

Monika, I am so glad it works well with your others. I look forward to seeing what you do for me, but don\'t worry about rushing. I realize this time of year is very hectic. I am not planning on putting my blocks together until March or April as I realize some may yet arrive and I do not want to leave them out of the quilt. Please remember to sign, date and write the location on your block; that way I\'ll always remember where each block came from and who made it. Happy holidays! Janet

Good morning you all, thank you so much for thingking of me, but I had actually opted out of the Birthday block exchange awhile back. I have received several blocks and I have reciprocated and made blocks for those ladies, but I have actually not initiated making any.

So now I have a predicament. I have todate 5 wonderful vibrant and awesome ohio Star blocks. Not quite enough to make a quilt, even with filler blocks, so i will give you my address and if you want to make a block for me, that would be just awesome. I will of course return the sentiment, so please make sure I have your address, color preference and size. I thank you all for your thought.

Happy Holidays to you all:cool:.

Monika, I have a quilt here to do for a customer that was in a block exchange and there were only five of them. For a sixth block she drew a design from a stencil, embroidered it and wrote the names of those that gave her a block and in the center put what the exchange was for. I will try to post a picture later, the concept was really neat.

Sheryl, what a great idea.

Monika, I will make you an Ohio star block, but it might not get there until after the first of the year.

I mailed blocks on Monday to:

Vicki

Sandra

Tina

Beth

Sheryl

I am in the middle of Jeanne\'s replacement block (wonder where that first one ever ended up????)

and Karol\'s house.

I still have to make Barb\'s star, Alynn\'s fall block, and Leslie\'s block. then I\'ll be done. YEAH

That\'s wonderful Teresa that you are almost done. Congratulations! Wow, what a wonderful accomplishment. Let me know when you are all done. Can\'t wait to see my block from you. I had my birthday on Sunday and have about 26 blocks. As I showed them to Mom, I wrote all the names on each along with the city and state so that years later I would remember who sent them to me. Think I\'ll wait until March too before starting to put them together just in case a few more "squishies" arrive. I\'m thinking that they might look good as a tall banner or wall hanging instead of a bed quilt. Is anyone else doing a wall hanging?

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all are enjoying the holidays. I made pies for my neighbor and my parents since they make nice gifts. Visited with friends in Mazatlan, Mexico where they live for the winter. Took a couple of yoga classes from my friend Maureen who loves living in Mexico. Now we are on our way to Los Angeles to help our daughter move, paint, and decorate. Should be lots of fun to start the new year off with something so stimulating. Love the mother/daughter time with her. May all of you have a great beginning to the new year too.

Love, Vicki

Hi Teresa,

I received your block today. I LOVE it. Thank you so much. I will make yours...soon.

I had a tooth extracted this afternoon, and of course "Mother Murphy" was there...complications. Anyway, getting home and finding your block in my mail, really made my day look brighter.

Merry Christmas!

Sandy

Teresa, Judi (Olson) and Barb (Goodson),

I am mailing your blocks out tomorrow. I was home "sick" today and so was able to make them. I had a tooth pulled yesterday afternoon, so I am taking antibiotics and for 48 hours, also pain killers (helps to reduce swelling, too), and no driving allowed while on the pain killers. Humm...my dentist said I had to stay home and sew:)
