DoryJM
I spent Thursday and Friday in a design class with Jamie Wallen. He is an extraordinary teacher and a really nice guy. After drawing this feather, I decided to put one in this customer quilt. It was easy to sneak it in....its black thread on black fabric!!

DoryJM
Thanks everyone!! Now that I have the hang of this, you're right...I'm putting those feathers in the corner of the quilt I'm working on now. They are fun to do and not hard once you get the hang of it. Jamie is an excellent teacher and spent a lot of time working with everyone to make sure they were doing them correctly.
