Sharonsews Posted November 23, 2004 Report Share Posted November 23, 2004 Well, I did it! I got payed for my first quilt! The great part is, when she came over she brought 5 more! Yepee! Unfortunatly, I am sending one back for her to fix. She bought it on ebay and the borders are horrible. After looking at it, there is No way I can quilt it and make it look nice. 5 borders that just keeped getting worse!! Luckly, the other quilts are homemade. She also told her mom who send me 2 lap size quilts. Word travels fast! Sorry no pics. Its in my camera which isn't digital, so it will be a week or so before I get it developed. I've got two more to do, plus a charity quilt, but I'm working on a jacket for myself this weekend. Have to sneak out early to the sale at JoAnn's for some lining. I bought a Vogue pattern and it will be lined. I think this is gonna look really cool. At least I hope so!! Sounds like you're off to a good start. Best of luck to you.
